BETTERLIVING® PATIO ROOMS IMPROVE THERMAL PROPERTIES OF GLASS

Craft-Bilt Manufacturing Company announced today that all insulated glass for Betterliving® aluminum patio rooms will use AFG Comfort E2® glass. E2 glass is a high performance, low emissivity insulated glass. All units will feature an Intercept™ spacer, argon filled space with a hard coat Low E on surface two. This glass has been designed to minimize the exchange of heat between interior and exterior spaces and to block harmful ultraviolet rays. Benefits include improving energy savings, eliminating cold spots and drafts and reducing condensation.

This change will become effective May 1, 2006. The new units will continue to carry the FMA Certification Labels.
